Carolina Digital, Inc. designs, develops, and manufactures hardware and software for embedded systems. Our flagship product, Caroline, was a stand-alone, proprietary automated attendant and voice mail system that integrated with a variety of KSU and PBX systems. Since the introduction of the Caroline product, we have progressed in the telecommunications industry and now design, develop, and produce original equipment for leading telecommunications companies. We have also expanded to new markets including medical and radio equipment.

In December of 1999, the Caroline product was discontinued after seven years in production. Now Carolina Digital's telephony division is focusing on the development and design of original equipment for PBS and KSU systems offered by leading telecommunication companies. Our speciality is to design and develop a voice and data storage system that directly interfaces with other proprietary equipment and that utilizes the latest in solid-state storage medium technology.

In 1999, Carolina Digital's new medical division helped bring Touch Scientific's tear analyzer system, the M9, to market. Our medical division was instrumental resolving final development issues and bringing the product to manufacture. The M9 system offers exciting new diagnostic possibilities in the medical industry. It compact size and simplistic interface brings sophisticated diagnostic technology into the doctor's office.
